The World's Strongest Witch Anime Lands October 2026
The World's Strongest Witch anime adaptation is set to premiere in October 2026.
The World's Strongest Witch will premiere in Japan on October 7, 2026, bringing Mochimaru Sakaki's light novel series to screen for the first time. The adaptation marks a significant expansion for the property, which has already spawned a manga by Tamaki Toga since May 2023.
Director Jouji Furuta helms the project with Bridge and Aisle studios handling production. Shouji Yonemura wrote the screenplay, while character designer Yuuki Morimoto shapes the visual identity. The voice cast includes Azusa Tachibana and Fairouz Ai in lead roles.
The original light novels, published since December 2022, now have both manga and anime adaptations in motion—a standard trajectory for successful light novel properties, but one that suggests the source material has found an audience worth betting on.
