The centerpiece announcement was a remake of Ocarina of Time, coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. Beyond the game itself, Nintendo is leaning into the celebration across multiple fronts. A special The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition console and Pro Controller will launch on October 29, 2026 — giving fans a way to mark the occasion hardware-wise. New amiibo figures depicting Young Link and Young Zelda are scheduled for 2027, alongside a LEGO Ocarina of Time set featuring Link and Epona, arriving in spring of that year.
