Studio Cabana Manga Gets 2027 Anime Adaptation

Uma Aguri's manga Studio Cabana is headed to television as a full anime series in 2027. The production has already locked in voice talent and creative leadership, with animator JUVENAGE handling production duties.

Sayumi Suzushiro will voice Yukari Maki, one of the series' leads. The role of Yusuke Kusaka's singing artist, however, remains open—the studio is running an audition to fill that spot, suggesting the character's musical performance will be a significant element of the show.

Director Shinichiro Ushijima, series composer Sawako Hirabayashi, and character designer Haruka Sagawa round out the main creative team. A teaser visual has already been released alongside the announcement.

The adaptation marks a significant step for the manga, which now has both a confirmed timeline and a substantive production framework in place. 2027 is still over a year away, but the early staff reveals suggest the project is already in active development.
