Student Council Comedy Gets Anime Adaptation This October

Studio Passione is bringing Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! to screens this October, adapting Muchimaro's manga comedy that's been running in Weekly Shounen Magazine since April 2022.

Director Naoyuki Tatsuwa is helming the series, with screenwriter Masahiro Yokotani handling the script and character designer Ryou Imamura bringing the cast to life. Shougo Sakata voices protagonist Ume Mizunoe in what marks the manga's first major screen adaptation.

The teaser has already dropped, giving fans their first glimpse of how the studio plans to translate the manga's humor into animation. With a solid creative team and a source material that's found an audience over nearly five years of serialization, the October 2026 premiere could find a ready-made fanbase waiting.
