Shonan Bakusozoku OVA Turns 40: Free Streams, Event, Blu-ray Box

Shonan Bakusozoku, the delinquent-gang OVA that debuted in the mid-1980s, is getting the full anniversary treatment: free streaming of all 12 episodes, a staff reunion event in Tokyo, and a complete Blu-ray box set.

The original manga ran in Shonen KING from 1982 to 1987 under creator Yoshida Satoshi. The OVA adaptation followed, and now, four decades later, Toei Animation and Toei Video are rolling out the celebration.
