SDCC '26: Avengers Doomsday Costumes Reveal the Full Roster
SDCC 2026 reveals the full Avengers: Doomsday roster through an epic costume display.
Marvel Studios just put the entire Avengers: Doomsday lineup on physical display at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, and the costume gallery reads like a who's-who of the MCU's biggest names colliding at once.
The showcase includes Sam Wilson's Captain America suit alongside Thor's armor, Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova gear, Channing Tatum's Gambit costume, Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm suit, and James Marsden's Cyclops outfit. That's Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, and X-Men all in the same room—a visual confirmation of the scale Marvel is swinging for.
The trailer itself has already dropped major reveals: Robert Downey Jr. returns as Doctor Doom, Chris Evans is back as Steve Rogers (the original Captain America), and the roster spans from Loki and Ant-Man to Shang-Chi, the Black Panther, and the X-Men pulled directly from the Fox franchise films. That last detail alone signals Marvel's willingness to fold legacy mutant continuity into the broader MCU narrative.
One mystery lingers on the display floor—a Latverian witch costume sits among the lineup, but Marvel hasn't confirmed who's wearing it yet. Given Doom's Latverian roots, the connection is obvious; the identity, though, remains under wraps.
The concept art driving the film's visual direction came from Andy Park, the longtime Marvel Studios designer who was laid off in April. His work on Doomsday represents one of the last major projects he contributed to before his departure.
This is the kind of in-person reveal that reminds you why Comic-Con still matters for the film industry—seeing these costumes together, in real space, makes the scale of what Marvel is attempting feel tangible in a way a trailer can't quite match. The movie's still on the horizon, but the studio just handed fans the visual roadmap.
