Promise Me the Spotlight Gets Anime Adaptation

Jun Wakatsuki's manga series Promise Me the Spotlight is heading to the screen. An official announcement confirmed the work will receive an anime adaptation, though a broadcast date hasn't been locked in yet.

The manga, which launched in November 2022 in Shounen Magazine Edge under Kodansha's imprint, has already accumulated six volumes in Japan. The series appears to have gained enough traction in its relatively short run to warrant the anime greenlight—a sign that Kodansha sees genuine commercial potential in the property.
