I'm Dating a Dark Summoner Gets Imp Character Trailer

The upcoming anime adaptation of I'm Dating a Dark Summoner has released a new character trailer spotlighting Imp, one of the series' cast. The promo marks the latest preview ahead of the show's October 2026 premiere.

Director Seiya Miyajima is helming the adaptation while also handling series composition and scripts. Character designer Takahiro Sasaki, who serves as Chief Animation Director, is shaping the visual identity of the cast. The manga source material, which launched in 2021 in Kadokawa's online magazine Dra Dra Sharp#, has accumulated nine collected volumes in Japan to date.

The character trailer is the first concrete look at how the adaptation will translate the original manga's cast to screen. With a full year until broadcast, the studio is building anticipation methodically—a smart move for a series that's already established a readership across nine volumes.
