Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku Ends This August

The emotional school drama Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku is wrapping up. Creator Ayano Takeda's manga will publish its final chapter in August, bringing the story of Hana Haruyama and her high school broadcasting club to a close.

The series has been serialized since June 2021 across ten volumes from Shueisha, building a dedicated following for its character-driven narrative and intimate look at the broadcasting club's inner world. Takeda, who is also known for Sound! Euphonium, has cultivated a particular skill for depicting the emotional texture of group dynamics and creative collaboration—and this manga has been no exception.

The timing of the conclusion arrives just months after the anime adaptation by studio Bind premiered in early 2025, giving fans both a manga ending and a fresh animated take on the material in relatively close succession.
