Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero's Massive DLC Drops July 30

Bandai Namco Entertainment is dropping the "Super Limit Breaking NEO" DLC for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero on July 30, and it's substantial. The expansion adds 33 new characters to the fighting game's roster, over 20 customizable costumes, and four new stages. A new solo mode called Limit Breaker Journey rounds out the paid content.

Simultaneously, a free update will roll out gameplay enhancements including "Sparking! Boost" and "Chain Blasts" features—quality-of-life additions that suggest the developers are actively listening to the competitive and casual player base.

The game itself launched in October 2024 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. This DLC represents a significant content injection barely nine months after release, signaling Bandai Namco's commitment to keeping the Budokai Tenkaichi spiritual successor in active rotation.
