Crunchyroll Picks Up 'Romelia War Chronicle' Simulcast
Crunchyroll will simulcast the new fantasy anime 'Romelia War Chronicle.'
Crunchyroll has licensed Romelia War Chronicle: The Count's Daughter Rallies an Army in the Wake of Mankind's Victory, a fantasy anime adaptation that will air in Japan this year with English subtitles on the platform.
Studio Atra is producing the series, with Hiroshi Shirai directing. Aya Satsuki handles the script and Yuuta Ootaka designed the characters. The anime is based on the light novel series by Ryou Ariyama, which ran from June 2019 through November 2025.
The show will run for six months in Japan, making it available to international audiences via Crunchyroll's simulcast window. That's the whole play here: another fantasy property with a premise built around military strategy and post-victory politics, now accessible to Western viewers as it airs.
