Hulu has officially confirmed that BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4—The Calamity—will run for 10 episodes, kicking off July 25. The first episode, titled "GOD OF THUNDER," arrives after early theatrical releases of the opening three episodes in US cinemas.
Creator Tite Kubo has leaned into this final stretch. He's woven additional original material throughout the season and personally selected all the theme songs, a detail that signals his direct hand in steering the anime's conclusion. Given that the manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016 and has shipped over 130 million copies worldwide, the stakes for sticking the landing are real.
Ten episodes is a solid length for a finale—long enough to breathe, short enough to stay focused. For a series this massive, that's the kind of precision that matters.
