If you've been waiting on an adaptation of The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom, the wait is almost over. The anime premieres October 3 on NHK Educational, bringing Nao Iwamoto's manga to screen with a voice cast that includes Kengo Takanashi, Makoto Tanikawa, Haruki Ishiya, Satoshi Inomata, Kiyoto Mizuno, Taishi Murata, Reiji Kawashima, Akeno Watanabe, and Show Hayami.

Directed by Kiyoko Sayama at J.C. Staff, the series follows seven brothers who are knights embarking on adventures to find their fated partners. The manga, which launched in Shogakukan's Flowers magazine in 2016, has run to 11 volumes and found an audience in that specific corner of the industry.

This is a solid pull for the October slate—a character-driven fantasy with an ensemble cast and enough narrative momentum to sustain a full series. J.C. Staff's track record with ensemble casts and character work makes them a natural fit for the material. The October 3 date means we're looking at a fall premiere that should land while the anime community is already deep in the seasonal conversation.
