Marvel Studios just dropped the new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, and it's going straight for the throat. Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., is front and center—and he's raising an entire army of Sentinels.

The footage hints at a genuinely dark turn for the Avengers, with the stakes clearly escalated beyond what we've seen before. This is Doom operating at full scale, not as a side threat but as the central force reshaping the MCU's next phase.

There's also a major returning face: Steve Rogers is back. Chris Evans' return to the MCU in this film marks one of the biggest surprises the studio has landed in years, and the trailer confirms he's part of whatever confrontation is coming.

Avengers: Doomsday arrives December 18. If you've been waiting on confirmation that Marvel is swinging for something genuinely consequential, this trailer is it.
