PlayStation Plus August: Helldivers 2 Arrives Early

PlayStation Plus is bringing a solid wave of titles to its Game Catalog this August, with something for most moods—whether you're after cooperative action, immersive RPGs, or something a little more experimental.

Helldivers 2 leads the charge, arriving for PlayStation Plus Extra members starting August 12 worldwide. If you've been curious about Arrowhead Game Studios' co-op shooter but haven't taken the plunge, this is a natural entry point.

From August 18, the catalog expands with Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, the medieval RPG that rewards patience and attention to detail; Vampire Survivors, the roguelike that's become something of a phenomenon for its deceptively simple appeal; and Hell is Us, which joins on August 25 in the US, UK, and Japan.

That same August 25 date also brings Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, and Dying Light 2 to those same regions, rounding out what's shaping up to be a generous month.

On the PlayStation Plus Premium side, Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire are being added to the classic games lineup, which may appeal if you're looking to revisit older titles.
