Season two of From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman has dropped a new trailer and locked in two fresh voice cast members: Kensho Ono and Sumire Uesaka. Ono voices Warren Flumvelk, while Uesaka takes on Shueste Flumvelk—both new characters joining the humble swordsman Beryl Gardinant as the series pushes forward.

The anime, produced by Passione and Hayabusa Film, began airing July 8. The production team includes director Akio Kazumi, character designer Satsuki Hayasaka, and composer Yasuharu Takanashi. The opening theme comes courtesy of Unicorn, with BLUE ENCOUNT handling the ending track.

The series adapts light novels by Shigeru Sagazaki, illustrated by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima and published under Square Enix. The casting additions signal the show is ready to expand its roster—a solid move for a second season that needs to keep momentum alive.
