Haikyu!! Day 2026 delivered the goods: two major releases locked for 2027, a fresh manga collection arriving this September, and enough side projects to keep fans busy until then.

The headline pair is HAIKYU!! the Movie: VS The Little Giant and the special anime HAIKYU!! Where Monsters Go, both coming in 2027. No release windows beyond the year, but the franchise isn't leaving you hanging in the meantime. Haikyu!! Character Remix: Bonds – Hinata and Kageyama, a two-volume manga collection, drops in Japan on September 4, 2026, zeroing in on the central dynamic that makes the series work.

Beyond the core releases, the announcements sprawled across merchandise and experience. A collaboration with Japan's SV.League brings new illustrations by series creator Haruichi Furudate into the volleyball world. Yuki Tabata contributed fresh art for the Haikyu!! Volleyball Card Game!! BREAK booster pack. The Haruichi Furudate Haikyu!! Exhibition: Challengers runs from October 30, 2026, through January 11, 2027, in Tokyo—a proper retrospective for the creator's work.

On the stage front, Gekidan Haikyu!! (the franchise's theatrical arm) announced its third production, Winners and Losers. Earlier in 2026, the franchise also launched Haikyu!! TOUCH AND CONNECT, its first puzzle game.

The volume of announcements signals one thing clearly: Haikyu!! isn't slowing down. The 2027 slate alone—a theatrical film and a special anime—represents serious investment. The manga remix and exhibition suggest the franchise is also mining its own history, which makes sense for a series that's already concluded in print but clearly has more story to tell.
