Evangelion's 30th Anniversary Exhibition Lands in Nagoya This Fall
Evangelion's 30th-anniversary exhibition lands in Nagoya this fall.
The Evangelion franchise is marking three decades with ALL OF EVANGELION, a major exhibition opening September 4 in Nagoya at the newly opened PARCO HALL. The show runs through October 12 and will showcase production materials spanning the original TV series and the Rebuild of Evangelion film tetralogy—the full visual archive of one of anime's most enduring properties.
Weekday visitors get a draw: one of five original postcards featuring Shinji, Rei, Asuka, Mari, or Kaworu. It's a clean incentive to visit outside the weekend crush, and the postcard designs appear to be exhibition-exclusive.
The exhibition is already seeding hype. A special promotional banner with new illustrations will hang in Osu Shopping Street from August 1 through October 12, giving the Nagoya area two months of Evangelion saturation.
For fans who've followed the franchise from its 1995 debut through the Rebuild films' conclusion, this is the kind of retrospective that justifies the pilgrimage—production cells, concept art, and the visual DNA of a series that fundamentally shifted what anime could be. The Nagoya location makes it accessible to the Kansai region and beyond, positioning it as a major draw for the autumn exhibition season.
