Kadokawa has launched a teaser promotional video for the television anime adaptation of Punichan's light novel series, The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom (Japanese: Akuyaku Reijō wa Ringoku no Ōtaishi ni Dekiai Sareru).

The anime is set to premiere in January.

Story Overview

The narrative centers on a protagonist who is reincarnated as Tiararose, a villainess in a popular otome game. Resigned to the fate set for her character, she faces an unexpected twist when the crown prince Aquasteed proposes to her, adding a unique angle to the storyline.

Source Material

Punichan initially serialized the story on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2016, with B's-Log Bunko publishing 14 illustrated volumes, totaling over 5.6 million copies in circulation. A manga adaptation is ongoing, with multiple spin-offs also available.
