The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbour Kingdom Anime Set for January 2026 Release

Otaku USA Magazine reports that the anime adaptation of Punichan's light novel series The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom is scheduled to debut in January 2026. This announcement comes accompanied by a new key visual, shedding light on the highly anticipated adaptation.

Directed by Takayuki Hamana of The Prince of Tennis, the series will feature scripts by Yoshimi Narita from Beet the Vandel Buster and character designs by Majiro, known for his work on Barakamon. The anime will see the return of the main cast from the game's prior adaptation, including Mai Fuchigami as Tiararose, Yuichiro Umehara as Aquasteed, Takuya Sato as Hartknights, and Yumiri Hanamori as Akari.

The narrative follows Tiararose, who finds herself reincarnated into her favorite otome game as the villainess. The plot thickens when the crown prince of a neighboring kingdom, Aquasteed, proposes a marriage that diverges from the original game's storyline, adding fresh intrigue to the tale.

With its blend of romance and adventure, fans are eagerly awaiting this new chapter in a beloved franchise, signaling strong interest in the series as the release date approaches.
