Vanessa Kirby Reveals How Sue Storm’s Arc Will Influence Avengers: Doomsday

In an insightful interview, Vanessa Kirby, who portrays Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has shed light on how the character's pivotal arc will play a role in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. During the final act of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Sue Storm showcased her immense power by sending Galactus millions of light-years away from Earth, albeit at the cost of her life. This monumental moment not only highlights her strength but also sets the stage for her resurrection, aided by her son Franklin Richards.

Kirby reflected on how the intense experience of birth, death, and coming back to life would affect Sue's character as she prepares for her role in the Avengers sequel. “I've been listening to a lot of people that have had those kind of experiences and what they learn, and therefore how different they are after they come back from that,” she said.

The film is expected to explore Franklin's potential, particularly his access to the Power Cosmic, a theme from the comics where he possesses the capability to resurrect the dead and create new realities.
