Trigun Stargaze Anime Premieres January 10

The highly anticipated Trigun Stargaze anime recently unveiled its full trailer during the Tokyo Comic Con 2025 event. The anime, set to debut on January 10, 2025, showcases not only thrilling visuals but also introduces additional cast members and theme song artists.

New Cast Members

The newly announced characters include:

  • Chō as Leonof the Puppet-Master
  • Taketora as Hoppered the Gauntlet
  • Shinichirō Miki as Midvalley the Hornfreak

Theme Songs

The opening theme titled "Picaresque Hero" will be performed by singer ano, while FOMARE will contribute the ending theme "Stardust." The anime is set to air on TV Tokyo and stream across various platforms in Japan.

Returning Heroes

Fans can look forward to the return of key cast members:

  • Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Vash the Stampede
  • Sakura Andō as Meryl Stryfe
  • Yoshimasa Hosoya as Nicholas D. Wolfwood

Other returning voices feature:

  • Kōki Uchiyama as Legato Bluesummers
  • Ayumu Murase as Elendira the Crimsonnail
  • Ryūsei Nakao as William Conrad
  • TARAKO as Zazie the Beast
  • Ryūji Satō replacing Junya Ikeda as Millions Knives.

Adding new dimensions to the story are Chika Ayamori as Milly Thompson and Ryūji Satō taking on Millions Knives. The series continues the narrative 2.5 years after the events of Trigun Stampede.

Production Team

Directed by Masako Sato, the anime features contributions from returning writer Takehiko Oxi and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, who supervises the series' scripts. Character design is led by Kouji Tajima, with Kiyotaka Oshiyama responsible for animation character design.

Legacy of Trigun

The Trigun universe has a rich history, initially adapted from Yasuhiro Nightow's manga, which ran from 1995 to 2007. The original 1998 anime adaptation is well-regarded among fans. The new series aims to capture that same enthusiasm while expanding the storyline further.
