Trigun Stargaze Launch
The Trigun Stargaze premiere is set for January 10, 2026, exclusively on Crunchyroll. This sequel occurs two and a half years post the Lost JuLai tragedy that wreaked havoc on the planet. The narrative will follow Meryl in her quest alongside a new companion, Q Milly, as they encounter Wolfwood. Meanwhile, Vash, taking on the alias Eriks, hides from his pursuers but is forced back into action upon receiving a distress call from the third colony ship.
As hope glimmers from the cosmos, the return of the one-winged angel signals impending chaos.
Both series, Trigun Stampede and Trigun Stargaze, are adaptations of Nightow's manga and produced by Studio Orange, which is acclaimed for its innovative CG animation in titles like BEASTARS. Kenji Muto directed Trigun Stampede, while Masako Sato, known for her work on Haikyu!! To the Top, directs the sequel. Alongside, the scripts are conceptualized by Takehiko Oki, with character designs by Kouji Tajima, known for GANTZ:0.
Trigun Stampede's plot, as described by Crunchyroll, revolves around Vash the Stampede, a pacifist gunslinger with a $6 million bounty on his head, explored by rookie reporter Meryl Stryfe and her seasoned partner. Their investigation unveils the nefarious presence of Vash's twin brother, Millions Knives.
