Triangle Strategy RPG Expands to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

In an exciting update for fans of tactical role-playing games, Square Enix revealed during the Xbox @ gamescom broadcast that Triangle Strategy is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Originally released for Nintendo Switch in March 2022, the game later made its way to PC via Steam that October. It also expanded into the realm of virtual reality with versions for Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3, launched in October 2024.

Triangle Strategy is set in the world of Norzelia, where players take on the role of Serenoa, heir of House Wolffort. The game challenges players to command a diverse group of warriors amidst a narrative rife with complex plot twists. Players' decisions carry significant weight, shaping Serenoa's worldview through three main convictions: Utility, Morality, and Liberty. These choices influence not only the storyline but also the relationships among characters, especially during pivotal moments known as the Scales of Conviction, where multiple characters vote on key decisions.

Featuring a dynamic grid-based combat system that emphasizes tactical positioning and environmental interactions, Triangle Strategy engages players in strategic decision-making that affects the fate of entire nations.
