Toxic-a-Holic Franchise Expands with New Manga Series Launch
Toxic-a-Holic franchise expands into manga with new series.
The latest issue of Kadokawa's Comic Gene magazine has announced that the Toxic-a-Holic franchise, created by Kadokawa and Earth Star Entertainment, will be launching a new manga spinoff titled Toxic-a-Holic Alternate Episode. This new series is set to debut on October 15. The manga will feature artwork by Shinki and composition by Teiko Sasaki, and it promises a color opening page to engage readers from the start.
The Toxic-a-Holic franchise revolves around boys known as "toxic boys," who possess toxic and poisonous characteristics. They are enlisted by humanity to combat a mysterious invading force referred to as the "void." To improve their image and increase popularity, the Tokyo branch of their organization has been creating PR videos to showcase their capabilities.
Originally launched in November 2024, the franchise has captivated audiences with its unique premise. This new manga spinoff aims to expand its narrative and deepen the connection with fans.
For those interested, Teiko Sasaki is no stranger to manga, having previously published Kissing in English back in 2006.
Stay tuned for the launch of this exciting new series!
