The official website for the television anime adaptation of Sakae Saitō's "Touring After the Apocalypse" (Shūmatsu Touring) manga has unveiled a promotional trailer, along with key visuals, staff details, and an October premiere date. The trailer showcases the opening theme song "Touring" by Conton Candy and the ending theme song "Glide" by Myuk, adding to the excitement surrounding the series. Directed by Yoshinobu Tokumoto (known for "Darwin's Game") at Nexus, the anime features a talented production team, including Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handling series composition and script, and Usaku Myouchin responsible for character design. Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music, further enhancing the series' appeal.

The production team also includes talented individuals such as art director Bun Sun Lee and color designers Naoto Tanaka and Junko Okazaki. The show will have an advanced screening of its first two episodes on September 23 at Yokohama Burg 13, providing fans with an early look at the adventure awaiting them. The central narrative follows two girls, Youko and Airi, as they explore the desolate ruins of Japan post-apocalypse, discovering the nation's most iconic tourist spots in their unique quest for sightseeing, undeterred by the collapse of civilization around them.

Sakae Saitō originally launched the manga in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine in September 2020, with the series being released in English by Yen Press. The seventh compiled volume was released on March 27, further showcasing the ongoing interest in this whimsical yet poignant story.
