Cast and Crew

The series will feature Takehito Koyasu voicing the main character Nekoryū, a dragon raised by a cat. The directorial role is in the hands of Jin-Koo Oh, known for his work on Tonbo!, while Mitsutaka Hirota of Edens Zero fame is in charge of the series composition. Character designs will be crafted by Rie Nishino and Chiaki Kurakazu, and the music will be composed by Takahiro Obata, renowned for his work on The Promised Neverland.

Originally, the story began as a web novel titled Neko to Ryū, written by Amara, first published in September 2013. This journey continued with its first light novel being released in April 2016, which features charming illustrations by Mai Ōkuma. To date, over 1 million copies of the series have been sold, signaling its popularity among readers. Additionally, Izumi Sasaki launched a manga adaptation in September 2017, further expanding the universe of this engaging tale.
