Tales of Xillia Remastered Set for Release on Multiple Platforms This Fall

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the upcoming remaster of Tales of Xillia, set to launch on October 31 for Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This enhanced version of the beloved game features quality-of-life improvements and additional content.

Body: The highly anticipated remaster of Tales of Xillia, originally released in 2011, will arrive on various platforms this fall, marking a significant return for fans of the franchise. Not only does this remaster celebrate the series' 30th anniversary, but it also incorporates key enhancements to improve the overall gameplay experience. Players can look forward to new features such as auto-save and early access to the Grade Shop, alongside downloadable content from the original game, including costumes and bonus items.

Set in the enchanting world of Rieze Maxia, Tales of Xillia Remastered follows the intertwined journeys of Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman accompanied by powerful spirits, and Jude Mathis, an aspiring medical student. As they uncover a malevolent plot involving the kingdom of Rashugal and a weapon that threatens to drain mana from their world, players will engage in the franchise's signature real-time combat, using the Dynamic Raid Linear Motion Battle System.

The original Tales of Xillia, which debuted in Japan on PlayStation 3 in September 2011, served as a landmark title, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the beloved franchise. The sequel, Tales of Xillia 2, was subsequently released to further expand its narrative universe, illustrating the game's lasting impact on the action RPG landscape.
