The anime will be directed by Junichi Yamamoto, known for works like 'Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion.' The series scripts will be supervised and written by Hayashi Mori, while Masakatsu Sasaki will design the characters. This stellar lineup aims to bring the unique and thrilling narrative of Chojo and his partner to life.
About the Manga
Originally published as a one-shot in April 2023, the manga began serialization in February 2024 and concluded on June 9. Set in the vibrant city of Chinjuku, it follows Meguru Chojo, a psychic police officer with extraordinary abilities, alongside his judo expert partner, Nao Ippongi. Together, they tackle crime in their comical yet action-packed adventures.
In anticipation of the anime, Viz Media has begun releasing chapters of the manga simultaneously with its Japanese release. A physical edition of the first volume will also be coming in spring 2026, adding to the excitement surrounding this adaptation.
