The eagerly awaited anime adaptation of the beloved shojo romance manga A Star Brighter than the Sun is set to debut on October 2, 2025, as revealed in a recent announcement.

Today’s unveiling included a brand-new trailer, key art, and a roster of exciting new cast members. The series will air on the Tokyo Broadcasting System and features contributions from notable talent: Hisui Onodera will be voiced by Hina Yomiya, while Taito Ban, Mutsumi Tamura, and Ryota Osaka lend their voices to Yota Ayukawa, Mio Kagawa, and Yushin Izawa, respectively. The official opening theme, titled “Stellar Days” and performed by Motohiro Hata, was also highlighted in the trailer.

The story follows Sae, a girl known for her height and strength, and Koki, who has transformed from a timid boy into a tall, popular high schooler. Their journey explores themes of rekindling childhood friendship and the potential for deeper connections. With the backing of Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine and an English version from VIZ Media, the series aims to captivate viewers both in Japan and internationally.
