Spy×Family Season 3 trailer unveils new ending song details.
The official website for the animated adaptation of Tatsuya Endō's SPY×FAMILY manga has unveiled the full trailer for the upcoming third season, which includes a preview of the ending theme song titled "Actor" by Lilas Ikuta. This season is set to premiere on October 4 at 11:00 p.m. across various TV networks including TV Tokyo and TV Osaka, with streaming on Crunchyroll available worldwide (excluding Asia).
The trailer also highlights changes in the production team, with Yukiko Imai, a previous episode director, taking the helm for this season, working under Wit Studio and CloverWorks. The art setting is managed by Yuki Takeuchi, while Keita Watanabe will serve as the CG director, and Rina Koguchi is tasked with editing this season.
Returning from previous seasons are the main cast and some production personnel. The first season's initial half aired in April 2022, following with its second half in October 2022. The anime's second season premiered in October 2023, continuing its success on Crunchyroll.
Additionally, the SPY×FAMILY Code: White film debuted in Japan in December 2023, opening to box office success and followed by its North American release in April 2024. The manga is available in English from Viz Media, which describes its captivating storyline about a master spy who takes on a unique family dynamic for a mission.
Fans can also look forward to a second stage musical adaptation, running from September to December this year.
