A recent rumor suggests that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will kick off with a spectacular action sequence featuring Spider-Man and The Punisher, among other characters.

Currently, filming is underway in the UK. The movie's first set images showcased Tom Holland's Spider-Man atop an armored vehicle, with Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle also spotted during a chase scene. According to popular scooper MTTSH, the film will open with a thrilling scene where a group of criminals, believed to be the Inner Demons, attempts to break Mac Gargan/Scorpion out of transportation.

In this chaotic sequence, The Punisher and a mysterious female partner aim to eliminate the criminals while Spider-Man strives to halt the escape and minimize fatalities.

Set videos released online indicate this will be a highly explosive introduction to the film. Additionally, there are whispers of a montage featuring Spider-Man taking on various foes, which may either precede or follow this intense scene.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day boasts a star-studded cast, including Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, along with Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman in undisclosed roles. Sadie Sink's character remains shrouded in mystery, but a twist related to her role is rumored.

Director Destin Daniel Cretton expressed his excitement about exploring this beloved character, stating, "We’re all just daily, nerding out over the suit, how to swing, how to create an event..."

Tom Holland shared his anticipation, noting it's his fourth day one on the film, remarking on the unique experience of having fans on set.

Lastly, Spider-Man 4's release date has been shifted from July 24, 2026, to July 31, 2026.
