Second Season of 'Isekai Nonbiri Nouka' Set for 2026

The official website for the popular anime series 'Isekai Nonbiri Nouka' (Farming Life in Another World) announced the arrival of its second season on Sunday, much to the delight of fans. Scheduled for a 2026 premiere, this new season promises to bring back the same creative team, including director Ryouichi Kuraya, who is also handling series composition and scriptwriting, all under the Zero-G production banner. Teaser visuals and promotional video footage have also been unveiled, generating excitement among the series' dedicated audience.

Returning staff members include character designer Yoshiko Saitou, along with music composers Yasuharu Takanashi and Johannes Nilsson, who have previously contributed their talents to the franchise. The first season of 'Isekai Nonbiri Nouka' aired a total of 12 episodes starting in January 2023, with HIDIVE providing both subtitles and an English dub.

The series adapts the fantasy light novel by Kinosuke Naitou, which began its journey on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in December 2016, followed by Kadokawa's print release under its Enterbrain label in October 2017, featuring illustrations by Yasumo. As of now, there are 5.7 million copies of its volumes in circulation, with the 19th volume set to be released on August 29.

Adding to the expanding universe, a manga adaptation illustrated by Yasuyuki Tsurugi has also been serialized since October 2017, with Kadokawa publishing the 14th volume on March 7 and planning the release of the 15th volume on September 9. One Peace Books even licensed the manga in English in September 2020, with the eleventh volume anticipated to ship on November 25.

The story follows Hiraku Machio, a man who, after a life confined to a hospital bed, is reincarnated by a benevolent god into a new world where he can pursue his dreams. Armed with an all-in-one "Almighty Farming Tool," Hiraku sets out to transform an uninhabited forest into a thriving society, marking his journey from solitude to community.
