The latest promotional video for the Scum of the Brave anime was unveiled on Friday, featuring the opening theme song by TOOBOE. The anime is set to premiere on NTV and its affiliated channels on January 10 at 12:55 am JST, streaming first on dAnime and Hulu, then on other platforms, including AT-X.

The anime will air for two cours (approximately six months) with no breaks. Crunchyroll will also stream the series as it broadcasts.

Manga Background

Originally launched in 2018, the Scum of the Brave manga, written by Rocket Shokai and illustrated by Nakashima723, is published digitally in English by Manga Planet. The story explores a world where wealthy mafia members can become 'Demon Kings' via ether-enhancement surgery. The protagonist, Yashiro, prefers simple joys but finds himself entangled with aspiring bounty hunters, known as 'Braves.'

The manga's eighth volume was released on December 18, and plans for a revised novel format publication are underway.
