Manga Background
Scum of the Brave was launched by Shokai on the Kakuyomu website in February 2016 and has since been serialized in manga form since 2018 on the Comic Border service. The narrative follows bounty hunters in an alternate version of the 21st century, navigating a world where mafia members can become 'Demon Kings' through ether-enhancing surgeries. The series expertly blends humor and action, particularly focusing on the protagonist Yashiro, who is more interested in the simple pleasures of life than pursuing power.
For those curious, the manga is also available in English digitally via Manga Planet.
