Sakamoto Days Returns for a Second Season

The popular anime adaptation of Yuuto Suzuki's Sakamoto Days is officially set for a second season. This exciting announcement was made during the Jump Festa '26 event, accompanied by a teaser trailer and a new visual.

First Season Overview

The first season of Sakamoto Days premiered on January 11, airing on TV Tokyo and affiliated channels, and made its debut on Netflix on the same day. It continued with the second part starting on July 14, introducing viewers to the world of Taro Sakamoto, voiced by Tomokazu Sugita. The well-received anime was directed by Masaki Watanabe through TMS Entertainment, with scripts managed by Taku Kishimoto.

Manga Background

Initially introduced as a one-shot in Jump Giga in December 2019, the main manga series began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in November 2020.
