New Installments of Saint Seiya Then and Saintia Shō Memories Announced

On November 19, 2025, the January 2026 issue of Akita Shoten's Champion RED magazine revealed that Masami Kurumada is set to release a new installment titled Saint Seiya Then II: Shimei (Mission). This sequel to the popular Saint Seiya: Next Dimension will debut in the magazine's next issue on December 19. Like its predecessor, Saint Seiya Then: Haikyo no Hana (Flowers of Ruin), this new installment will feature eight pages in full color.

Additionally, fans can look forward to a new short serialization of Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō Memories. Titled Memory 4: Kōri no Tōshi (Warrior of Ice), this side story will also launch in the upcoming issue. Chimaki Kuori has been intermittently publishing these spinoff stories since July 2022, which includes three previous "Memory" chapters and two "Extra Memory" installments. Notably, this new entry is categorized as a "short serialization" rather than individual chapters.

Background on Saint Seiya

Kurumada originally penned the Saint Seiya manga from 1986 to 1990. The series has since inspired various anime adaptations, films, and spinoff manga, accumulating over 35 million copies in circulation. The original series was published in English by Viz Media under the title Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac, while adaptations like the CGI anime remake debuted worldwide in July 2019.

Fans are eagerly anticipating these new additions to the Saint Seiya universe, hoping they will deliver more of the captivating stories and characters they have come to love.
