Sailor Moon Dinner Theater Set to Open in Tokyo in 2026

Sailor Moon: Shining Theater - Shinagawa Tokyo

The beloved Sailor Moon series is set to inspire a new dinner theater show, Sailor Moon: Shining Theater, opening at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel’s Club eX in Tokyo in April 2026. This theatrical experience will feature 10 Sailor Guardians and a selection of original themed drinks.

Tickets will go on sale in early 2026 and will be available for guests inside and outside Japan.

Previous Iterations

This new show follows the Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon -Shining Moon Tokyo restaurant that opened in August 2019, which showcased daily original stage performances alongside food and drinks inspired by the franchise. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed permanently in August 2020.

The Sailor Moon franchise has already made its mark in the performing arts with productions like Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon The Super Live and various adaptations of stage musicals dating back to 2013, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of the series.
