NSFW: Room of Guilty Pleasure Anime Unveils Trailer Ahead of Early Uncensored Release
The upcoming "Room of Guilty Pleasure" anime reveals a trailer and early release details.
The manga Room of Guilty Pleasure (originally titled Guilty Hole: Oshiego Shika Shimei Dekinai Mise) is set to receive an anime adaptation by AnimeFesta. The series will premiere on Japanese television on October 5, but fans will have the opportunity to watch an early, uncensored release on September 12 via the streaming service OceanVeil. A trailer has been released, showcasing the project’s vibrant animation and engaging storyline.
The trailer features the theme song "Ai Mu Guilty" (translated as "Love Dream Guilty"), performed by the talented Asahi Tachibana. The voice cast includes Mai Hoshino as Amai Miruku, Makoto Hojo as Chiyoki Remon, Aya Hinata as Kanna Natsuki, and Mamoru Sasaki as Koki Nishiyama. In true AnimeFesta fashion, the show will be available in multiple formats, including a YouTube version, a censored TV version, and the uncensored streaming format.
Produced by Studio Hōkiboshi, the anime is directed by Saburō Miura, known for his work on Idol Sister and Show Time!, who is also responsible for the series' scripts. The plot centers around the overworked teacher, Mr. Sasaki, who encounters what he believes to be a dream scenario when he finds students' lockers transformed into selection panels. After jokingly picking a student, he finds himself embroiled in an unexpected relationship that blurs the lines of propriety and desire.
The original manga series by Kentie debuted in 2023 and is available in English through BookWalker and Coolmic. It has been published primarily in digital format by WWWave Corporation, with a physical release by Suiseisha.
