
The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 Unveils Exciting New Arc with Promo Video
The fourth season of *The Rising of the Shield Hero* has announced its new "Q'ten Lo arc," set to commence with its seventh episode, alongside a newly released promotional video.
The highly anticipated fourth season of The Rising of the Shield Hero premiered on July 9 and has begun teasing its forthcoming narrative arc, titled "Q'ten Lo." Kadokawa released a promotional video to generate excitement for the new journey that unfolds in the seventh episode. The anime continues to be broadcast across various platforms, including AT-X, TOKYO MX, and Crunchyroll, which provides streaming options both in subtitled and dubbed formats.
Returning to helm the series is director Hitoshi Haga, alongside series script supervisor Keigo Koyanagi. Visual design duties are under the expertise of Franziska van Wulfen, Sana Komatsu, and Masahiro Suwa, while composer Kevin Penkin leads the musical score, supported by sub-composers Alfredo Sirica and Natalie Jeffreys. New voice cast members such as Takeo Ōtsuka, who voices Werner, and Jirō Saitō as Jaralis, join the already talented roster.
The series originally debuted in January 2019 with a two-hour special, captivating audiences with the story of Naofumi Iwatani, an unassuming otaku thrust into a parallel universe as the Shield Hero. With a unique blend of adventure and depth, the narrative explores themes of betrayal and resilience as Naofumi rises to fulfill his destiny.
