Re:ZERO Season 4 Trailer Unveils New Cast for April 2026 Debut
Exciting news: Re:ZERO Season 4 arrives in April 2026!
Kadokawa recently unveiled the first key visual and main trailer for Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4 during the MF Bunko J's Fall School Festival 2025 livestream. Fans have much to anticipate, with a scheduled premiere in April 2026.
New Characters and Cast
Tomokazu Sugita is set to voice Reid Astrea, a legendary swordsman and the first holder of the title "Sword Saint," who lived approximately 400 years ago. Additionally, Fairouz Ai will portray Shaula, another significant new character.
The trailers also revealed visuals of the Witch Cult's Sin Archbishops from the third season:
- Roy Alphard - voiced by Kengo Kawanishi
- Rui Arneb - voiced by Konomi Kohara
Returning Staff and Animation Studio
The production team includes familiar faces:
- Director: Masahiro Shinohara
- Series Script Supervisor: Masahiro Yokotani
- Character Design/Chief Animation Director: Haruka Sagawa
- Animation Production: WHITE FOX
The third season, consisting of the Attack Arc and Counterattack Arc, aired on TOKYO MX and was streamed by Crunchyroll.

The first season premiered in April 2016, with future seasons streamed as they aired. Additional content includes short anime spinoff series and OVAs. Notably, the Director's Cut of the first season premiered in January 2020, enhancing the viewing experience.
