Plot Overview

The film stars Jeremy Irvine as James Sunderland, a man who embarks on a treacherous journey through the haunted town as he searches for his lost love, Mary Crane (played by Hannah Emily Anderson).

The story unfolds when James receives an eerie letter from Mary, luring him back to a town now shrouded in darkness. Along the way, he encounters terrifying creatures and uncovers grim truths that challenge his sanity.

Gans co-wrote the screenplay with Sandra Vo-Anh and William Schneider. Notably, Akira Yamaoka, the original composer of the video game series' haunting music, returns as an executive producer, promising an authentic atmospheric experience.
