
All You Need to Know About Ranma 1/2's Second Season Release
New details emerge about the upcoming second season of Ranma 1/2.
The highly anticipated second season of Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma 1/2 anime is set to premiere on October 4, 2025, on NTV at 24:55 (effectively October 5 at 12:55 a.m.). The official website has unveiled a new promotional video highlighting the opening theme song 'Wo Ai Ni' (I Love You) performed by Wednesday Campanella.
Fans can look forward to the series streaming on Netflix following the television broadcast. Returning to his role from the original anime, Toshihiko Seki reprises his character Mousse after 32 years.
The recently announced cast includes:
- Kaori Nazuka as Ukyō Kuonji
- Kazuhiko Inoue as Happōsai
- Ako Mayama as Cologne
- Akira Ishida as Hikaru Gosunkugi
Many key staff members from the first season are returning, including director Kōnosuke Uda and script supervisor Kimiko Ueno. New additions to the production team include Kōsuke Kawamura as one of the chief animation directors. The ending theme will be performed by nishina, featuring the song 'Panda Girl.'
The earlier installment of Ranma 1/2 premiered nationwide in Japan in October 2024 and exclusively streamed on Netflix post-broadcast. Don't miss out on the new season!
