Upcoming Anime Release: Petals of Reincarnation

Talents from past lives are awakening this spring. Pony Canyon and HIDIVE announced that the anime Petals of Reincarnation (Reincarnation no Kaben) will officially premiere in April 2026. Alongside the release date, a promotional video has been unveiled, giving fans a sneak peek of the opening theme titled "Glitch*" performed by singer eill.

Production Team

The anime is produced by BENTEN Film, directed by Shun Kudou, known for his work on Grendizer U. The score is composed by the renowned Kohta Yamamoto, famous for his contributions to Attack on Titan: The Final Season and 86: Eighty Six.

Cast Announcement

The announcement also introduced five new prominent voice actors portraying founding members of the "Forest of the Greats":

  • Haruka Shiraishi as A. Einstein (notable for roles like Asirpa in Golden Kamuy)
  • Kaito Ishikawa as I. Newton (known for Tobio Kageyama in Haikyuu!!)
  • Reina Ueda as F. Nightingale (recognized as Kanao Tsuyuri in Demon Slayer)
  • Marina Inoue as Jubei Mitsuyoshi Yagyu (famous for Armin Arlert in Attack on Titan)
  • Shugo Nakamura as Hiroshi Funasaka (known for roles in The First Slam Dunk and Blue Lock)

Story Overview

Based on the manga by Mikihisa Konishi, the plot revolves around Toya Senji, a student who feels overshadowed by his talented brother. His life takes a turn when he discovers he can use a "branch of reincarnation" to harness the skills from his past life. However, he is not the only one; other "Returnees" with abilities from legendary historical figures have much grander and more perilous plans.
