As the narrative unfolds, Hallorann attempts to delve into the mind of Rose's nephew, Taniel, while unveiling the origins of Pennywise. The backstory reveals that millions of years ago, an evil entity was imprisoned in a falling star. The Native American inhabitants fashioned weapons from this star to keep It contained. However, with the arrival of settlers and their disregard for the indigenous warnings, Pennywise grew more powerful.
A group to exorcise this evil failed miserably at its task, leading to further havoc unleashed by Pennywise. It's revealed that the creature is confined beneath the woods that would become Derry, sealed by shards of the celestial object that once served as its cage. General Francis Shaw, however, plans to excavate these shards, hoping to harness Pennywise as a weapon.
With Hallorann's newfound knowledge, the path to Pennywise's lair lies at 29 Neibolt Street, setting the stage for a thrilling confrontation in the upcoming episodes.
