The highly anticipated Patlabor EZY anime project has revealed five new cast members, expanding the series' lineup ahead of its debut. The anime, which will air in the form of three theatrical films, promises to be an exciting continuation of the beloved franchise.

New Cast Members

1. Ami Koshimizu as Saki Hirata
   Saki, the 25-year-old commander of Ingram-02, is admired for her intelligence and IT skills. After a brief stint in corporate life, she embraced her call to serve in the police force. Known for her logic-driven arguments, she also struggles in illogical situations.

2. Chikahiro Kobayashi as Akihiko Hazama
   Akihiko, the 29-year-old pilot of Ingram-02, brings an old-fashioned sense of pride to the role. Formerly a police sergeant, he is skeptical of AI technology and prefers minimal software aid in his Ingram. A talented kendo practitioner, he often lightens the mood with dad jokes.

3. Setsuji Satō as Yūta Yanai
   Yūta, a 25-year-old carrier driver for Ingram-01, switched from helping in his family's diner to joining the police. His strength and worldly wisdom complement an outlaw streak, making him both heroic and considerate.

4. Yume Matsumura as Hachikuma Yuzuki
   Hachikuma, the 24-year-old driver for Ingram-02, faced adversity before joining the police. Despite her impressive height, she grapples with a lack of motor skills and hopes to care for a cat one day.

5. Megumi Hayashibara as Kimika Saeki
   At 34, Kimika serves as SV2's respected captain. Known for her good judgment and calm leadership, she thrives under pressure and values peaceful incidents over accolades.

Returning Cast Members

The series will also include previously announced cast members such as:

• Sumire Uesaka as Towa Kuga, the bold 22-year-old pilot of Ingram-01.
• Kikunosuke Toya as Kippei Atori, the responsible commander of Ingram-01.

Upcoming Release Details

The Patlabor EZY anime will consist of eight episodes, released theatrically across three films on:

• May 15: File 1, covering the first six episodes.
• August 14: File 2, continuing the story.
• March 2027: File 3, concluding with two final episodes.

Set in the 2030s, the narrative addresses Japan's labor shortages and the rise of AI automation, while the SV-2 team remains committed to preventing Labor crimes using their updated Ingram mecha.
