Upcoming Anime "Okiraku Ryoushu no Tanoshii Ryouchi Bouei" Unveils Main Cast and Set for 2026 Premiere

The official website for the television adaptation of Mitsuru Inoue's "Okiraku Ryoushu no Tanoshii Ryouchi Bouei: Seisankei Majutsu de Na mo Naki Mura wo Saikyou no Jousai Toshi ni" has revealed the principal cast members in an announcement made this Wednesday. The anime is set to premiere in 2026, generating excitement among fans of the genre.

The cast includes notable voice actors such as Yumi Uchiyama, known for her work in "Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu," who will portray the character Van Nei Fertio. Mao Ichimichi, recognized from "Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken," will take on the role of Till, while Mariya Ise, famous for her role in "Hunter x Hunter (2011)," is cast as Khamsin.

Inoue began writing this engaging fantasy series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in May 2020, and it was subsequently published by Overlap under their Overlap Novels label in September 2021, complete with captivating illustrations by Kururi, the artist behind "Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata." The seventh volume was released on January 25, with the eighth volume slated for an August 25 release.

Additionally, Maro Aoiro launched a manga adaptation of the series on the Comic Gardo website in August 2021, with Overlap publishing the seventh volume in April 2025. The light novel and manga adaptations were licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment in March 2023, marking their access to an international audience, with the fifth manga and novel volumes shipping on July 1 and August 19, respectively.
