New Marvel Zombies Trailer Brings Gory Action and Chaos
Marvel Zombies trailer reveals thrilling undead chaos.
Marvel Studios has just unveiled an exciting and gory new trailer for Marvel Zombies, featuring undead versions of popular MCU heroes and villains. The trailer is filled with thrilling action sequences, including Spider-Man battling a zombified Thanos, who is on the receiving end of Thor’s mighty axe, Stormbreaker.
This four-episode series is set to premiere on Disney+ on September 24, 2023, and promises to offer a darker view of the Marvel universe, diverging from the typical content fans are accustomed to. The animated event, rated TV-MA, hints at bloody chaos and brutal endings for beloved characters, including Captain Marvel, who has succumbed to the zombie plague, leaving the remaining survivors with little hope.
Previously, Spider-Man was seen alongside Black Panther and Ant-Man’s head in What If...?, but this new series pivots to focus on Phase 4 heroes, creating a precarious situation for Peter Parker as he faces the threat of the undead Thanos.
Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios’ Head of TV, Streaming, and Animation, has confirmed that Hudson Thames will again voice Spider-Man in Marvel Zombies, having portrayed the character in previous MCU animated projects.
The trailer also features glimpses of Blade Knight in action, which offers fans a hint of what the anticipated Blade movie might have been if it had been released.
In Marvel Zombies, the storyline follows a group of survivors racing across a dystopian landscape to find a way to end the zombie outbreak among the Avengers, risking everything to save their world.
Notable voice talents include Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), among others. The series is produced by Bryan Andrews and Zeb Wells, with executive producers Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and others.
Don’t miss the premiere of Marvel Zombies on September 24 on Disney+!
