Scott Snyder Unveils a Wild Transformation of the Joker!

Scott Snyder, renowned for his work on Absolute Batman, has just revealed a glimpse of a remarkable new evolution for the Joker. The teaser was shared through a Twitter post, showcasing a grotesque, reptilian humanoid figure adorned with the Joker's iconic features, set to debut in Absolute Batman #15, scheduled for release in December. The striking imagery draws parallels to the Titan Joker from the 2009 video game, Batman: Arkham Asylum. While this new incarnation isn’t as grotesquely disfigured, it bears similar spinal spikes and a hulking physique.

This rendition introduces a variety of menacing attributes, including elongated claws, spiked horns, and a tail, alongside hints of amphibious characteristics reminiscent of the classic Joker Fish from Batman: The Animated Series. The speculation continues as to whether this figure is the Absolute Joker or one of his monstrous creations.

Additionally, coming this October, the one-shot comic Absolute Evil #1 will explore the underbelly of the Absolute Universe, featuring notorious villains—Ra’s al Ghul, Veronica Cale, and Hector Hammond among others.
