New Character Trailer for "May I Ask for One Final Thing?" Shines Light on Nanaka

AlphaPolis’ popular light novel series May I Ask for One Final Thing? is making the leap from page to screen. Written by Nana Otori with illustrations by Satsuki, the story has also been adapted into a manga by Sora Honoki, currently available in English from Alpha Manga.

The series follows Scarlet, a noblewoman whose engagement to Kyle is abruptly called off during a grand ball. Falsely branded a “villainess” and shunned by aristocrats, Scarlet reaches her breaking point after enduring years of mistreatment. In a bold move, she requests one final favor: to punch her ex-fiancé in the face. The story chronicles her stylish and fiery quest for revenge, blending fantasy adventure with a strong, rebellious heroine.

The TV anime adaptation is set to premiere in Fall 2025, with Crunchyroll streaming it worldwide across North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the CIS. Kazuya Sakamoto will direct the series at Liden Films Kyoto Studio, with Deko Akao overseeing series composition, Eriko Haga designing characters, and Hinako Tsubakiyama composing the music.
